Kate Hill Pinot Noir 2014
Pinot Noir »
This wine is made from a blend of fruit from the North and South of Tasmania. 2010 was an extremely low-yielding vintage for Pinot Noir in Tasmania, due to conditions during fruit set in spring 2009. The vintage was relatively cool, with the grapes ripening slowly and harvested later than average. The resulting 2009 Kate Hill Pinot Noir is more restrained and elegant than the 2008, which is why Kate has chosen to delay the release of the wine. It will be available in extremely limited quantities due to the low yield of the vintage.
